Electoral and Political
Electoral Law is a branch of Public Law whose purpose is to regulate popular sovereignty through the rights and duties of citizenship, as well as to ensure the correct application of norms of participation in the electoral process, whether as a voter, candidate, or political party. Political Law, which is strongly integrated in Electoral Law, deals with the set of norms established by the Constitution that regulate the electoral system, political process, the organization and registration of parties, among others.
